The car is registerd in Germany and currently located there but can be brought to the south of Sweden.
This Defender was with the military until 2012 - it has been restored extensively from 2013 - 2017. Hundreds of pictures of the restoration process can be found here:
It has a rebuild 300TDI engine (from a Discovery - meaning it has more horse power). The block was honed, new OEM pistons, new cylinder head, new rockers, valves, push rods, water pump pulleys, sensors, timing belt etc. The injection pump was refurbished in England.
The R380 was overhauled by the MoD and was in good condition upon inspection in 2017.
The 1.2 ratio LT230 - is also from a Discovery with unknown mileage - it has been upgraded with a cross drilled input gear, all other gears were in excellent condition.
The entire suspension is new and uses the latest variable compression rate springs from Land Rover and poly bushes. All drag links and arms were powder coated.
Many of the chassis parts (not the chassis itself) are galvanised. The chassis has been restored, painted and filled with corrosion preventing grease.
It was first registed on the road in 2017 in Germany and has since moved about 35.000 KM.
It's mostly used as a camper and has the rear cladded in wood. It has two deep cycle batteries with a split charge system and a stronger Alternator. There is a 1200W inverter with two 230V power outlets.
Bash plate, 8mm aluminium
Gas tank bash plate
Detachable Dixon Bate tow bar
2019 Hankook Dynapro AT on 16 Inch Steel wheels (Wolf)
Exmoor trim seats & carpet
This is a great camper for people who really want to go into the wild where no motorhome can go. The combination of 300TDI and R380 is the most reliable according to many Defender enthusiasts.
